Varnish and beads

I am absolutely fascinated by the new ‘Ciate Caviar Manicure Set‘.

The idea of fairy bread-like sprinkles, atop fingernails, holds a strange appeal. But on the other hand terrifies me. I’m achingly unsure if I love or hate this new product. (Also comes in black and white).

The website has an instructional video to reassure the naysayers. Appears the manicure set has sold out worldwide – an international phenomenon.

From a ‘key messages’ perspective I do take issue with the image of beads on the model’s lips. Is this safe? Several appear to be headed towards her throat. However looking beyond the safety issues, one can visualise a divine pink iced cupcake with colourful sprinkles.

I’ll probably end up buying a set.
Use once, then store in a drawer for the rest of time.

    • Hi Celine

Haven’t seen the caviar manicure for sale in Mebourne. My understanding is there’s minimal stock to satisfy (worldwide) demand. Such is the level of coverage the product has attracted.

If I do hear anything will let you know.

      Best wishes
      Lisa
